Jamie McMurray Biography

Jamie McMurray returns to his first NASCAR Busch Series team for a limited schedule in 2007.  McMurray will team up with Brewco Motorsports, his home during the 2001 and 2002 seasons.  The combination garnered success during its reign, seeing two wins, six top-five and 17 top-10 finishes.  The 2002 season also marked McMurray’s NEXTEL Cup debut.  McMurray scored his first victory in only his second series start, winning at Lowe’s Motor Speedway while filling in for the injured Sterling Marlin.  The 2003 NEXTEL Cup Raybestos Rookie-of-the-Year will continue to run a full-time NEXTEL Cup schedule for Roush Racing.
