Team Brewco #66
Nashville Post-Race Notes
& Quotes
NASHVILLE, TN (June 12,
2005)- Aaron Fike,
driver of the #66
Federated Auto Parts
Ford, started 4th
and finished 38th
in the Federated Auto
Parts 300 at Nashville
Superspeedway. Fike,
who was making his
second start of the
season in the #66 Team
Brewco Ford, made
contact with Brandon
Miller on lap twenty,
sending both cars into
the turn four wall.
While the damage was not
terminal, Fike was
forced to take the #66
Ford behind the wall for
a series of lengthy
repairs. As a result of
the finish, Team Brewco
#66 fell from fourth to
seventh in NASCAR Busch
Series owner's
standings.
"I'm not
exactly sure what
happened. I was a
little free getting into
the corners, but overall
the car was pretty
awesome. I had a good
run going on the #21,
and I guess I was
thinking one thing and
he was thinking
another. I hate it for
everyone involved. We
set out to have a solid
top-ten finish and gain
a few points, but wound
up losing some ground,"
Fike said after the
Federated Auto Parts
300.
Greg
Biffle will return to
the driver's seat of the
#66 Duraflame Quick
Coals Ford this Saturday
night, June 18th,
at Kentucky Speedway.
FX and MRN will provide
live coverage of the
event beginning at
7:30pm EDT.
