Brewco team earns spray foam certification to bring insulation in-house
Brewco Marketing Group is strengthening its in-house production capabilities after members of the fabrication team recently completed professional training in spray foam insulation — a key component in the construction of the company’s experiential marketing trailers, mobile medical units, mobile classrooms, and custom mobile solutions.
Production Director Matt Head said Brewco recently purchased specialized spray foam equipment and sent members of the production team to Atlantafor a three-and-a-half-day certification course to learn the science and hands-on application of the insulation process.
“In the past, we relied on third-party contractors to spray foam our trailers,” Head said. “That could cost thousands of dollars and sometimes required scheduling several weeks in advance.”
Head attended the course alongside shop team members Warren and Mason. The training covered the scientific principles behind spray foam insulation, proper operation of spray equipment, and best practices for applying insulation in enclosed mobile environments.
“It was a pretty good class and a great asset for us to have,” Head said.
Improving timelines for experiential marketing builds
By bringing spray foam insulation in-house, Brewco now has greater control over production schedules for the company’s experiential marketing builds and mobile medical units.
Previously, projects requiring insulation depended on outside vendors, which could slow production timelines.
“With this in-house now, we’re not at the mercy of a third party,” Head said. “If we need something sprayed tomorrow, we can spray it tomorrow and keep the project moving.”
That flexibility helps Brewco maintain faster turnaround times for brands and organizations that rely on the company to design and fabricate custom experiential marketing trailers, mobile health clinics, and specialized mobile environments.
Cost savings for mobile medical units and custom trailers
The change also introduces significant cost savings during fabrication.
“When we budget a project, we used to be locked into the price a third party charged,” Head said. “Now we have more flexibility.”
Those savings can benefit both Brewco and its partners.
“It gives us the opportunity to pass savings along to our clients or create additional margin for the company,” Head said.
For organizations investing in mobile medical units, mobile training labs, and experiential marketing trailers, cost efficiency during production can make a meaningful difference in overall project budgets.
Why insulation matters in mobile medical units and experiential environments
Spray foam insulation plays an important role in the performance and efficiency of Brewco’s custom-built trailers and mobile units.
Compared to traditional insulation materials, spray foam creates a tighter seal throughout the trailer’s walls, helping regulate interior temperatures and improve energy efficiency.
“It seals the trailer off a lot better than standard insulation,” Head said.
That improved insulation is particularly important for mobile medical units and mobile healthcare clinics, where consistent climate control is essential for equipment operation and patient comfort.
Better insulation also helps HVAC systems operate more efficiently in mobile classrooms, training labs, and experiential marketing trailers that travel across a wide range of climates.
A key step in the mobile fabrication process
Insulation is typically installed early in the build process once framing is complete.
“When we bring a trailer in, we frame it out and run electrical and utilities first,” Head said. “Then we come back and spray the insulation.”
The process is similar to residential construction, where framing and electrical infrastructure are installed before insulation is applied.
Because Brewco designs custom mobile environments for each client, insulation requirements vary by unit type.
“Some trailers require insulation, and some don’t,” Head said. “It really depends on the customer and how the unit will be used.”
Strengthening Brewco’s fabrication capabilities
Adding spray foam certification is another example of Brewco’s continued investment in advanced fabrication capabilities for experiential marketing activations, mobile medical units, and specialty trailers.
By expanding in-house expertise, the company can maintain tighter quality control, accelerate production timelines, and deliver more efficient builds for clients around the world.
“It gives us more control over the schedule and the overall process,” Head said. “That ultimately helps us deliver a better product.”
