Summary
Brewco Marketing Group designed, fabricated, and delivered a custom 53-foot double-expandable mobile medical unit for Kaiser Permanente, providing additional clinical capacity to help reduce congestion within hospital emergency departments.
The Challenge
Kaiser Permanente needed a flexible medical facility that could quickly expand patient care capacity while remaining seamlessly connected to existing hospital infrastructure during periods of high demand.
The Solution
Brewco designed and built a fully equipped mobile medical unit featuring full medical gas, a permanent covered wheelchair ramp, an automatic transfer switch with onboard generator backup, a fire sprinkler system, and integrated AV capabilities that connect directly to the hospital. The unit serves as an extension of the emergency department, helping relieve pressure on ER operations while maintaining a safe, accessible, and reliable patient care environment.
