Summary
Brewco Health created a mobile medical unit bringing needed services to communities across Muhlenberg County, KY. The mobile medical unit provides on-site first aid at community events, covid testing and vaccination, disaster relief efforts, and health screenings and assessments in underserved neighborhoods.
The Challenge
Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital and The Muhlenberg County Department of Health received a grant from the Kentucky Department for Public Health to provide increased healthcare services throughout rural locations of Muhlenberg County, KY.
The Solution
Brewco Health designed and fabricated a 28’ mobile medical unit pulled by a dually truck. Inside the medical unit, there are two exam areas that have privacy curtains, two nurse workstations, and storage.
