Learning Undefeated

a mobile laboratory designed by BMG for Learning Undefeated

Summary

Mobile STEM education is a core part of Learning Undefeated’s mission to drive race and gender equity in STEM through experiential and deep-impact learning experiences for students from under-resourced communities. As the country’s mobile laboratory leader, they turned to Brewco Marketing Group to design and fabricate their latest innovation: the Explorer7.

The Challenge

Learning Undefeated wanted to add to its mobile fleet and expand its reach to over 50,000 students in one school year with mobile labs. They needed a way to take scientific tools and techniques directly to school parking lots and engage students with hands-on experiences—the nonprofit presented BMG with rigorous specifications for the mobile unit.

The Solution

Brewco Marketing Group designed and fabricated a self-sufficient 52-foot-long quad-expandible trailer equipped with power, heating, and air conditioning. With over 700 square feet inside and seating for 24 students, the unit features four 86: 4K touchscreen LED displays, a mobile instructors station, and a state-of-the-art, in-wall surround sound. The mobile laboratory can accommodate activities ranging from engineering to chemistry and everything in between.
